The 12 Trees of Christmas Gala, benefiting the Mark Massey Legacy Foundation, celebrates the magic of the holiday season while making a meaningful difference.
The 2026 gala is inspired by the timeless charm of New York City at Christmastime. This unforgettable evening will bring together community, generosity, and hope in the fight against Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG).
The Heart of the gala
Twelve beautifully designed Christmas trees, each uniquely curated and auctioned as a symbol of hope, remembrance, and the precious lives of children affected by DMG. More than stunning holiday displays, these trees represent light in the face of darkness and our shared commitment to advancing life-saving research, supporting affected families, and working toward a cure.

When and where is the gala?
Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Texas A&M Hotel & Conference Center, on the campus of Texas A&M University.
What time does everything start?
5:30 PM | VIP Cocktail Reception
6:30 PM | Registration & Silent Auction Preview
7:00 PM | Dinner & Program
What is included with my ticket?
Your ticket includes a plated dinner, open bar, access to the silent auction and live auction, the 12 Trees of Christmas display, dancing, and the evening’s program.
What is the dress code?
Formal New York glitz and glam. No denim.
Where should I park?
Parking at the Texas A&M Hotel & Conference Center is available in the attached Gene Stallings Boulevard (SBG) Parking Garage, featuring a covered bridgeway connecting the garage’s third floor to the hotel’s second floor.
Can I sponsor a table?
Yes! Table sponsorships are available and are a great option for businesses, families, or groups attending together.

No physical ticket is required. Guests will check in by name at registration.
What are the 12 Trees of Christmas?
Twelve locally designed Christmas trees will be featured at the gala. Each is uniquely decorated and available to bid on during the evening.
Are all 12 trees part of the live auction?
No. Eleven of the trees will be part of the silent auction, and one featured tree will be auctioned live during the evening.
How does the silent auction work?
Gala attendees and online participants register, browse items, place bids from their phones, and will receive notifications if they are outbid.
Do I need to attend the gala to participate in the silent auction?
No. Anyone, present or otherwise, will be able to participate in the silent auction as it is fully online!
When does bidding open/close?
