Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is a time to honor the unimaginable strength of children who face cancer and the families who stand beside them. It’s a reminder that behind every statistic is a child with dreams, laughter, and a life interrupted far too soon. Among the most heartbreaking diagnoses are DMG/DIPG, aggressive brain tumors that primarily affect young children and offer few treatment options and little hope for survival. These diagnoses steal futures in the quietest, cruelest ways, often progressing rapidly despite every effort to stop them. This month calls on us not only to remember these children, but to see them, to carry their stories, to support their families, and to push for the research and breakthroughs they so desperately deserve.
